How long does it take to build a web scraper?
A single-source scraper is usually delivered in one to two weeks. Larger systems take 4-8 weeks: multiple sources, scheduled runs, a database or dashboard your team relies on. Critical projects are staged so the highest-value parts go live first. You get a firm timeline in the written estimate before work starts.
Is web scraping legal?
Scraping publicly available data is legal in most jurisdictions, and it's how most price comparison, market intelligence, and research products are built. Every target is different, though. Before writing any code, we review the site's terms of service, robots.txt, and the type of data involved, and flag any legal risk in the estimate. We don't scrape personal data or content behind logins without a clear legal basis.
Do you provide support after the project is delivered?
Yes. Every delivery includes a bug-fix warranty, and we offer ongoing maintenance for systems that need to adapt when target sites or data sources change, which happens more often than most clients expect. Close to half of our clients stay on for exactly that reason: once their business depends on the data, they want someone who already knows the system watching it.
